 (Term-time and 15 hours in the Summer Holiday to support

Year 11 and Year 13 results days)

£21,269 - £23,953 pro rata (actual salary £7,620 - £8,582)

An opportunity has arisen for someone within our school community to assist with the delivery of a programme of careers education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG) alongside teaching

0.2FTE Business Studies to Key stage 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to raising whole-school achievement; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; and a determination to succeed.  Applications from both ECTs and experienced staff are welcomed.

We are passionate about staff development and are looking to develop future leaders and have a proven track record of appointments to leadership positions.  We offer a comprehensive CPD programme to develop teaching practice as well as supporting emerging leaders, both through internal development and the NPQ programmes. 

The careers coordinator role will include the leadership of a work experience programme across the school.

The school will provide training for the successful applicant if required. We are interested in receiving applications from internal candidates who share our vision of student-centred Future Intentions programme, which will support our learners in making informed, ambitious career decisions about their future.

The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm whilst providing a high standard of service to pupils, parents, and staff. They will also hold a Diploma in Careers Guidance or Qualification in Careers Guidance to Level 6
