Lifeguard 

Required from September 2021  

 Grade 4   £19,312 to £19,698 pro rata SCP

5 – 6 £10.01 - £ 10.21 per hour

Part -time 16.25 hours per week (term time only)

 

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, talented Lifeguard. By supporting lessons conducted by qualified teachers, you will be required to observe swimmers and enforce regulations in the guarding of life and preventing of accidents in the pool. 

The PE department is a successful department that is forward thinking, friendly and supportive; they are passionate about academic excellence, collaboration and delivering high quality teaching and experiences for every student. For core PE, all students at KS3 and KS4 receive a variety of structured PE experiences. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have excellent participation rates because we offer a broad and balanced curriculum that is adapted to suit the needs of different cohorts of students. The variety of activities offered include team and individual games, athletic, aesthetic, health related and swimming based activities. 

The PE Department play a key role in the extra-curricular life of Thomas Alleyne’s. This includes running a large and successful house swimming gala. Thomas Alleyne’s High School participates in various leagues and runs teams and clubs in: athletics, badminton, basketball, cheerleading, cricket, dance, football, netball, rounders, rugby, tennis, swimming, fitness, climbing and table tennis.
