Casual Minibus Driver
Grade 2 – £23,656 per annum
(£12.26 per hour)
Casual basis
We are looking for a reliable Casual Minibus Driver to transport pupils and staff at Thomas Alleynes High School. The role includes driving students to and from colleges, after-school activities, and school trips, as well as maintaining the mini bus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive pupils to/from colleges and higher education establishments, ensuring safe and punctual travel
- Transport pupils and staff to after-school meetings, games, and trips
- Ensure the mini bus is fuelled, clean, and in good working condition
- Deliver or collect the mini bus for servicing and repairs when required
Key Requirements:
- Full, clean driving license
- Experience driving a minibus, preferably in a school environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with young people
- Flexibility for morning, afternoon, and occasional evening work
- Ability to maintain the vehicle independently
Drivers must be DBS checked and undertake the Staffordshire County Council Minibus driver training scheme which is valid for 5 years.
