Casual Minibus Driver

Grade 2 – £23,656 per annum

(£12.26 per hour)

Casual basis

We are looking for a reliable Casual Minibus Driver to transport pupils and staff at Thomas Alleynes High School. The role includes driving students to and from colleges, after-school activities, and school trips, as well as maintaining the mini bus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive pupils to/from colleges and higher education establishments, ensuring safe and punctual travel
  • Transport pupils and staff to after-school meetings, games, and trips
  • Ensure the mini bus is fuelled, clean, and in good working condition
  • Deliver or collect the mini bus for servicing and repairs when required

Key Requirements:

  • Full, clean driving license
  • Experience driving a minibus, preferably in a school environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with young people
  • Flexibility for morning, afternoon, and occasional evening work
  • Ability to maintain the vehicle independently

Drivers must be DBS checked and undertake the Staffordshire County Council Minibus driver training scheme which is valid for 5 years.
