About Thomas Alleyne’s High School
Our school’s story is rooted in an extraordinary legacy. Thomas Alleyne, our founder, died in 1558 and left provision in his will for the establishment of three schools, each still thriving more than 400 years later. His belief in the value of education continues to inspire our community today.

The Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an exceptional leader to shape the strategic direction of Thomas Alleyne’s High School and ensure the highest standards of education, culture and care.
The successful candidate will:

We are looking for a Headteacher who:

Is an experienced, highly effective senior leader with the ability to lead a large, complex secondary school

Has a strong track record of raising standards and improving outcomes

Leads with a clear moral purpose, committed to safeguarding, inclusion and providing the very best for young people

Has the strategic ability to shape culture, develop people and deliver sustainable improvement

Can inspire others through exceptional communication, positive relationships and a visible presence across the school

Has the confidence and skill to lead continual development of facilities, resources and opportunities for students
