We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join the team at Thomas Alleyne’s High School as a Teacher of Maths. This role is available on a 0.8 FTE basis.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and committed Maths specialist, capable of inspiring students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality classroom teaching and securing excellent outcomes in GCSE Maths, with the potential to teach A-Level Maths, helping them to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about Maths education and committed to enriching the broader life of the school. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to an extra-curricular school trips and maths competitions. They will bring high expectations, a collaborative approach, and a determination to raise achievement in Maths through outstanding teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have a degree in Maths and Qualified Teacher Status
- Be able to teach Maths at KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Be passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to support all learners, including those with SEND.
- Have strong classroom management skills and foster a positive learning environment.
- Be eager to contribute to extra-curricular Maths activities such as clubs and trips.
- Be committed to continuous professional development and working collaboratively.
