Management Information Coordinator
Grade 6, (SCP 9-15) £27,254 – 30,024 per annum (pro rata)
Actual Salary £24,147 - £26,602 per annum
37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days (40 work weeks)
Permanent contract starting 01/09/2026
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented MIS Coordinator to support the effective management, integrity, and reporting of school data. This is a key role within the school, ensuring that accurate and timely information is available to support decision-making, statutory requirements, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to using systems such as Arbor and Sisra, alongside excellent Excel skills to analyse, manage, and present data effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce accurate and timely reports for staff, leadership, and external agencies.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all student data and records.
• Support data analysis for SLT, governors, and school improvement processes.
• Manage student reporting and progress tracking systems.
• Oversee the school’s MIS database, including pupil records, timetables, and assessments.
• Support the creation and maintenance of staff and student timetables.
• Manage admissions, transitions, and student record transfers.
• Maintain up-to-date student information, including enrolment and leavers.
• Coordinate end-of-year processes and annual data collections.
• Provide support and guidance to staff on MIS use and troubleshoot issues.
About You:
• Strong organisational and data management skills.
• Experience with MIS systems (e.g. SIMS) desirable.
• Excellent IT, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
